Tour Overview

Embark on an unforgettable trekking adventure through the Pamir-Alay mountains, exploring Kyrgyzstan’s “Asian Patagonia.” This journey combines intense high-altitude trekking, overnight stays in comfortable tent camps and guesthouses, and excursions to iconic peaks such as Pyramidal, Ak-Suu, and Iskander. Along the way, discover the rich Kyrgyz culture, traditional village life, and the natural wonders of Osh and Batken regions.

This trek is designed for adventurers seeking a challenging, immersive experience in one of Central Asia’s most remote and breathtaking landscapes.

Program Highlights

Day 1 – Arrival in Osh & City Tour
Arrive at Osh airport and transfer to the hotel. Explore Sulaiman-Too Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the historic Babur Mosque. Enjoy local cuisine at cozy cafes.

Day 2 – Uzgurush Village
Travel to Uzgurush in the Batken region, renowned for its fruit orchards and traditional villages. Overnight in a local Kyrgyz family home.

Day 3 – Trek to Ak-Tash Village
Begin trekking through juniper forests and walnut groves, crossing the Buljuma Pass (2,900 m). Camp overnight in a scenic valley.

Day 4 – Dzhalgychy Gorge
Ascend the Dzhalgychy Pass (3,780 m) for panoramic views of Pyramidal Peak (5,509 m) and Turo Pass (4,525 m). Overnight in a tent camp in the gorge.

Day 5 – Orto-Chashma Gorge
Cross rivers and navigate juniper thickets, enjoying breathtaking views of the Orto-Chashma Gorge. Relax in the camp sauna.

Day 6 – Kara-Suu Pass
Trek to Kosh-Moinok (3,260 m) and Kara-Suu Pass (3,760 m) with spectacular panoramas of the Turkestan Range. Camp beside the river.

Day 7 – Radial Trek to Asan Usen & Pyramidal Peaks
Experience the legendary “Yellow Wall” and trek to the base of world-famous peaks. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Days 8–10 – High Passes & Ak-Tyubek Camp
Traverse Kosh-Moinok and Ak-Tyubek Passes, witnessing the Asian Patagonia ridge and unique mountain shepherd life. Reach the highest camp at 3,790 m.

Day 11 – Ak-Suu Peak Excursion (5,355 m)
Climb to the base of Ak-Suu Peak, surrounded by Iskander, Petrogradets, Admiralteets, Alexander Blok, and Ak-Tyubek Peaks. Return to camp for overnight stay.

Day 12–13 – Descent & Return to Osh
Descend through scenic valleys and juniper forests to Uzgurush, then transfer to Osh for a farewell dinner.

Day 14 – Departure
Early morning transfer to the airport for your flight home.
