Among the World’s 14 Highest Mountain Peaks (above 8,000 meters) Nepal Cover 8 Peak. Among them Cho-Oyu is sixth highest mountain in the world. It is about 8,201m (26906 ft) above sea level. Cho Oyu means “Turquoise Goddess” in Tibetan. The mountain stands on the border of Nepal and Tibet. Cho Oyu is considered the easiest 8,000 metre peak to climb. Cho Oyu was first attempted in 1952. Eric Shipton and included Edmund Hillary & Tom Bourdillon attempted for the first time. But the mountain was first climbed on October 19, 1954, by Herbert Tichy, Joseph Jöchler and Sherpa Pasang Dawa Lama of an Austrian expedition via the north-west ridge.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival
After arrival at Tribhuwan international airport Kathmandu, The representative of ClimberCA will help you to take you and check at the hotel and will brief you about your daily activities. Night at desire hotel in Katmandu

Day 02:
Kathmandu
In this day we will wait for visa from Chinese Embassy. Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 03: Kathmandu
In this day we will wait for visa from Chinese Embassy. Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 04: Drive to kodari
We have to travel over land to the border side town Kodari

Day 05: Cross border to Zhangmu
This day we will cross border to Zhangmu and travel to Nylam

Day 06: Acclimatization
This day is for Acclimatization day in Nylam.

Day 07: Drive to Tingri (14,400 ft.)
We will drive to Tingri.

Day 08: Day 10: Acclimatization Tingri (14,400 feet)
This day is for Acclimatization day in Tingri.

Day 09: Drive to Base Camp (15,500’)
We will drive to base camp

Day 10: Short acclimatization hikes
We will have to do short acclimatization hikes and gear organization and rest.

Day 11: Advance to Base Camp.
Our loads are transported to the base camp

Day 12: Travel to  Camp (17,000’)
Travel to the camp and accompanied by the yak.

Day 13: Move to Advanced Base Camp (18,500’).
We have to move towards advance base camp

Day 14: Organize and set up camp.
We have to organize and set up camp.

Day 15: Rest and short hikes.
This day we have to rest and have a short hike

Day 16: Carry to Camp I (21,000’) and return to base camp.
In this we move to camp 1 and finally return to the Base camp.

Day 17: Rest days.
In this day we take rest

Day 18: Rest days.
In this day we take rest

Day 19: Move at Camp I.
In this day we move to camp 1 and finally sleep there

Day 20: Hike to Ice Cliff
In the very day we will hike to ice cliff and return to base camp

Day 21: Climb to Camp I
In this day we will climb to camp 1 and spend night there.

Day 22: Acclimatization.
We have to spend night in camp 1 for the acclimatization.

Day 23: Move to Camp II
In this day we move to camp 2 and spend overnight there.

Day 24: Return to advance base camp.
Then we have to again return back to Base camp.

Day 25: Rest Day.
We will take rest and prepare for our goal.

Day 26: Rest day
We will take rest and prepare for our goal.

Day 27: Move to Camp I.
We have to move to camp 1 from base camp

Day 28: Move to Camp II.
We have to move to camp 2 from camp 1

Day 29: Move to Camp III.
We have to move to camp 3 from camp 2

Day 30: Summit Attempt.
Finally we will be in the top of the summit and look for beautiful views of mountains

Days 31 – 36: Extra days
This day is considering as a extra day.

Day 37: Return to base camp
We have to return back to the base camp.

Day 38: Organize loads for trek out.
We have to organize load for trek out

Day 39: drive to Tingri
After that we will drive to Tingri

Day 40: Tingri to Zhangmu
After that we will drive from Tingri to Zhangmu

Day 41: Zhangmu to Kathmandu
Drive from Zhangmu to kathmandu

Day 42: Extra Day for expedition
We take an extra day for expedition

Day 43: Departure
After breakfast we will transfer you to Tribhuvan International airport (TIA) three hour before your flight you have to reach there

• Cost depends on Group size and Hotel Category in Hotels in Kathmandu.
• The itinerary is changeable and modifiable as per needs and time frame of climbers.
• Cost will be re calculated if the itinerary is changed or modified.
